August 5th, 2009 at 4:20 pmOkay, so I think Andy wasn’t affected because Maryann didn’t try to affect him. When she saw Tara and Eggs, she stopped and started again, but she didn’t do that when Andy came over. Lorena was the one that snatched Barry from the hallway. He turned around and she reached out and grabbed him. And I don’t think Sarah tranquilized Jason, she shot him with one of those paintball guns that he was shooting at the posters when he was with Steve.

Why straying from the book is better
July 21st, 2009 at 1:10 amI am sorry to anyone who percieved this as an ass-kissing post, but I am just trying to express my opinion, and write about what fans have asked me to write about. As for movies and shows not being the same, although Dan gave me three examples for movies that are copies word for word, those are the exceptions, but really there are going to be changes in almost all adapted works and you just have to make peace with that fact. And yes, I do call making minor changes to the sub-plots mysterious, they keep the core of the story, and then when something changes drastically, like Lafayette living, most fans are quite intrigued. It keeps you guessing, and I don’t see why you have a problem with that. Adapting, or based-on, does show creativity. It shows that someone found a book or an idea with potential and molded it. And I am by no means saying that these changes “enhance the original story,” I am merely saying the changes give new elements to a story. Some people think Lafayette living enhanced the plot, and some people hate that fact. It is all based on the opinion of the fan. And yes, alot of it is about money, but the entire cast and crew of TB have created a hit show that people love, and they see that, and work hard to keep it great. The writers have done a great job adapting these books in my opinion but they stay true to the core story, and to a lot of fans, that is all that matters.

And she came up to Sam right after he shape shifted, so she might have seen him shift.

July 10th, 2009 at 12:37 pmBill does drain quite a bit of her blood and she does feel weak after it all, but she takes the Vitamin B-12 every day to replenish her blood. And she doesn’t want to drink his blood normally, she knows it will heal her, and that is why she drinks it when she in injured, but if you remember back to episode one, she doesn’t like the fact that it is sold and used as drugs.

July 5th, 2009 at 4:52 pmIt is so confusing who is the maenad but think, yes Maryann was naked and had a pig, but Sam hooks up with the maenad in the book, and Daphne is for sure pulling moves on him, and if she had been scratched by the maenad she would be dead unless she is the maenad.
