TRUE BLOOD: New Posters For Season 5

HBO has just released the different character posters for its fifth season. Well, it’s not actually different. It carries the same design but it features different faces of each of the significant characters for the upcoming season.

The show is set to return to cable on June 10 at 9 pm and these posters, released on the show’s official Facebook page, come with the tagling “Everything is at stake” and carries a red tone all over.

Along with this, the show also released the official character photos last week, and for many of us, it was the first time to see the new characters (like Christopher Meloni) and how they looked.

I know you’re all excited! The wait is almost done!

TRUE BLOOD: First Look At Anna Paquin’s Baby Bump

True Blood star and soon to be mom Anna Paquin, showed off her baby bump for the first time last Saturday during an event in Beverly Hills.

The actress, who announced her pregnancy last April, was a glowing, gorgeous pregnant mother, attended that Huggies Hawaiian and Baby2Baby Luau Event with other celebrity mothers. And I have to say, she looks great pregnant!

The actress chose to wore a Clover Canyon dress with a nice summer print for the event. She was in YSL tribute heels and capped her whole look with a metallic clutch as accent.

This is baby is a first for the new mother, who married husband Stephen Moyer in 2010. Back then, Paquin has said in an interview that starting a family was not a priority and she believed that this should come at the right time.

And what a great time it is as the actress, who is just 29, seems all settled with her career and married life, a baby is definitely the next step to handle!

True Blood: Alexander Skarsgard as Christian Grey, yes?

Seems every young hot actor who has played a vampire character on TV or the movies, is eyeing what looks like the most coveted role for their…well, kind.

The book “Fifty Shades of Grey” has been earning a lot of buzz, so much so that it’s going to be made into a movie by Hollywood in a couple of years. Casting for the part of the lead actor Christian Grey has been rumored to be underway, and a lot of names have been thrown into the mix.

The character has a tremendous presence, and a dark sexy side to him that most names thrown as possibly playing him include vampire actors like Ian Somerhalder from “The Vampire Diaries” and Alexander Skarsgard, True Blood’s own hot, sexy and brooding vampire.

When asked if he should play the part, Alex was actually quick to agree that he thinks he’d make an awesome Christian Grey as well, and would love to play it.

He actually said that he was “born to play the part.” And you know what, we can’t disagree with him.

What do you think, should Alexander Skarsgard be cast in the movie as Christian Grey?

True Blood: Anna Paquin on Zooey Magazine

Anna Paquin is this month’s cover girl and feature on Zooey Magazine. The actress did a shoot months before it was announced that she is actually pregnant with her first baby with husband Stephen Moyer.

The actress looked very slim and lovely in her photoshoots for the magazine and she discussed her show, and being in the spotlight, among other things.

Anna Paquin says that she is a private person but acknowledges that being in Hollywood privacy is really a tricky thing.

“I think it’s important to have things that are just for you and people that are closest to you. Some people share absolutely everything, but then what do you have left that’s yours? It diminishes what’s really special in your life.”

She also spoke openly about being a bisexual, which she confessed several years ago, and still does not regret it because it is something that she really feels strongly about.

The actress, who just announced her pregnancy last week, is still reporting on the set of her show True Blood, to finish shotting for the fifth season.

True Blood: Photos For Season 5

True Blood has released a bunch of photos of the characters we’re going to see for its upcoming fifth season. Some of these photos include former Law & Order SVU’s schar Chris Meloni, who plays one of the vampires from The Authority.

Look at the gallery for some of the selections.

We also learned that True Blood’s Scott Foley, who rose to TV fame on the series “Felicity”, is going to figure heavily into the fifth season. He did say, however, that he’s not a supernatural, so viewers should not expect him to turn or do anything like that…for now.

“I’m not a vampire, I’m not a werewolf, I’m not a werepanther, I’m not a fairy, I’m not a shapeshifter. I’m just a guy coming into town trying to finish something he started back in Iraq.”

His character was actually introduced at the end of last season, and his story will have to continue this year.

True Blood: Are Bill and Eric Gonna Get It On?

Sometime ago, Alexander Skargard said this in an interview:

“There’s a bit of a bromance between going on this year between Eric and Bill…It’s fun because I love Stephen Moyer to death, and after four years of butting heads, this is more like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. We have a common enemy and we have to team up this year.”

Now, many fans are speculating, and perhaps putting so much into this statement by assuming that this coming season on True Blood, Eric and Bill are finally going to do the deed!

I know. It sounds totally iffy but plausible. Vampires are known to get it on with each other, even with the same sex right?

But Bill and Eric? Well, many viewers are actually anticipating this and because True Blood is graphic and all that, they know that eventually, this is bound to happen.

What do you think? Are Bill and Eric going to have a sexual encounter with each other? And how do you feel about that as a fan of the series?

True Blood To Bring New Vampire Breed

I really don’t know much about vampire history nor background but apparently they do come in different breeds and for this coming season, expect to see a different type of breed of vampires to be introduced on True Blood.

According to E! there will be one type of vamp that we have never seen before and this this is the kind that’s also strong and cocky (aren’t many vampired actually are?).

This new breed will be up for several episodes and may have something to do with the Vampire Authority.

The show doesn’t reveal much, but what do you guess this is?

Incidentally aside from a new breed of vampires, the show is also going to bring in a linguistic professor who is an expert on ancient text. This is probably in relation to that one, right? There must be some connection to this and the Vampire authority and the linguistics professor. Are we going to take a history lessons in vampires this season?

True Blood Star Dating Hollywood A-Lister

A True Blood star is apparently secretly dating Hollywood A-Lister Charlize Theron.

US Weekly reports that Alexander Skarsgard has already gone on two dates in Hollywood, the last one was at the Soho House where the two came with their friends.

One witness said that Charlize has been resting on his shoulder the whole time, and that the two actually looked like a couple.

Charlize has recently announced she was adopting a baby boy, and a few days before that, the paparazzi did spot her at the Gym Sportsbar in Hollywood, cozying up with Skarsgard. They apparently left the place with their arms around each other.

Sources say Charlize has been crazy about her new man. Charlize and Alexander both have histories of bad relaetionships which is probably why they are keeping mum about this one, at the moment. Going to the Gymn Sportsbar was the last thing they figured people would notice.

Charlize Theron used to date Stuart Townsend and it was a long relationship, that ended in 2010. Alexander Skargard, meantime, dated Kate Botsworth for two years and broke up last summer.
