Alcide Herveaux is here!
Joe Manganiello has been cast as Alcide Herveaux, Sookie’s werewolf crush in season/book 3. He has starred in shows such as ‘One Tree Hill‘ and ‘How I Met Your Mother’. Hopefully we will see and learn more about Alcide as season three progresses. I can’t wait to see who they cast as the rest of the new characters like Debbie Pelt, Claudine and Claude. Season three will be packed full of all the stuff that keeps making us come back for more. Alan Ball sure does deliver.

they’ll probably leave out claude and claudine at the moment, they change the books so much and they aren’t really crucial at this point in the books anyway! i hope they dont make up to much crap though. and that eric is in it. a lot..
I think they need to keep Claude and Claudine in. But since they’ve already changed the show so much I hope that they introduce them in a respectable way. I hope that all the characters that they enter are close to how they were in the books! They’ve already changed the 2nd season alot, but with how they’re doing the show I think it works. But I hope they put the fairies and all the other new supes on the show and I hope it will be good season. And I cant wait to see Eric in action again!!!
I agree with you about Claude and Claudine i feel in love with them in the book
this bloke is not what i thought alcide would look like he is really not that good looking.well just have to wait and find out .
ah. i didnt imagin him to look like that. ohhh i love alcide i wish him and sookie were together at least once instead of quinn he pissed me off to be honest. but i hope they do it well.
agreed. but i looooved quinn until he kinda screwed hr over.. i heard they wanted vin deisel for that part..

OMG, I luv Vin Dielsel. He seems to fit the Quinn bill pretty good. Bald check, muscular check, handsome check. I wonder if they really do want him for the part though, AB seems very very picky about the casting. Of course, all the actors so far play their characters wonderfully.
*SPOILERS* I was expecting someone super hot and buff like in the book to play a big wearwolf like Alcide.
