for gay or lesbians couples sex between heterosexuals is not atractive and sometimes refer to watching heteros have sex as sick. i have a lot of gay friends and i have express them my feelings and to them i’m not homophobic or discriminate agains’t them…because there’s no hate in my emotions is not considered discrimination and because there’s no fear is not homophobia, neither i’m treating or acting against them…so by the definitions of homophobia and discrimination i’m not neither of those.

In the books, Ch. Harris already put the man to man attraction in. Eric had a long relationship with his maker and they were certainly not just holding hands!!!!

Thats kinda not EVER going to happen. Like, really? I mean, it’s not the homosexuality thats the issue. That so would not even make for a good story line. I’d love to see both naked, my all means, but not in that situation. That’s just so not in character.
I agree v-addict that everyone has the right to have an opinion, but when they start saying mean things about other is when it goes too far. They don’t deserve it just because they have different views. If you don’t like gay sex that is fine by me but there are others who view it as normal just heterosexual sex and they have a right to feel that way.
If they were new vampires and eric was bills maker then maybe it could happen but not this far into their storylines…
The vampires have stated a few times in the series and the books that things like sexuality is not as much of a hot button like it is with humans. They have almost no boundaries.
A side note….I think its pretty sad how offended some people got and the way they expressed it…
extra did a poll on who Sookie should choose and bill won by a landslide. I believe the people polled there are just watching the Tv series. The polls on these sites I believe are all Book readers

Don’t think they’ll be playing Yahtzee. It would not hurt my feelings if they toned the s-e-x down a notch. Those Bill and Sookie the sex kitten scenes first of season 2 were enough. Season 1(even doing it in the dirt) were just as sexy without an “ick” factor. The Eric dream very hot. The orgy stuff got a big “yuck” factor too…after the 2nd or 3rd time I got the picture. Leave a little to the imagination…please!
I think that the topic of gay sex on TV is over but I have to say, you all are acting like a bunch of monkeys! I just read the whole thing and it ridiculous. First people were putting down others that thought Violet’s post was funny. Then some of the people who thought it was funny were putting down the the ones who didn’t. Then it went to major accusations and statements that were not true by a landslide. People were talking about how the others were being homophobic, then hippocritical and it even went to discrimination.
We all need to remember that this website is purely for human joy and entertainment. We all need to remember that we are on a website. We all need to remember that what we post is practically permanant. There is no turning back. You can take back what you said if you post another comment after that has apologies and condolences. But when you egg the others on with hurtful words, accusations and do so in an inhumane way, it’s not right.
Violet Coffin shouldn’t have to apoligize becasue other people made it into a fight. I’M SORRY for all the people who egged the fight on and caused tention. You might want to take this piece of advice that I have learned from experience: Big words hurt worse than cuss words. And they make for a good discussion. I hope you all know the difference between a fight and a discussion?

I’m totally for it =) Their rivalry is an ages-old formula that has been used in so much slash-fiction it should be canon..the old “sexual tension” between rivals. They totally need to settle their differences with some bed action! =D
