Fresh Blood
In anticipation of the Episode 2 of Season 2 of our very own favorite series, I’d like to introduce myself to you guys.
My name is Mikki and from this point onwards I’ll be asking for your opinions on our latest weekly dose of True Blood. Whether you’ve experienced a particularly spectacular reaction to Bill’s abs, would like to know who does Eric’s highlights or feel extremely distressed Jason is not having sex with anyone anymore, I’m here and I want to know it all. I’ve done my homework, maybe I’ll quiz you on True Blood facts, so be prepared. I’ll send Eric out to get you and I bet you wouldn’t mind that one bit, would you?
Let’s get this party started, shall we?
Well, my own personal favorite from ‘Nothing But the Blood’ is the super unforgettable scene of Eric coming down the stairs and killing a man with alu wrap for his highlights in his hair. Precious. That said, I’m going to try being serious while I replay that scene over and over in my head. I tried explaining to my mother how funny I thought it was and she just didn’t get it. You get me, babies, don’t you? It’s definitely in my Top 10 True Blood moments, right behind that graveyard sex scene which I’d wager is everyone’s Number 1.

I lol'd. A lot. I still do.
A shout out to those who’ve read Charlaine Harris’ books – you think we’ll get to see some Eric lovin’ in Season 2? I’d guess no, there hasn’t been much, if any at all, emphasis on his interest in Sookie, and well… Bill is… well, wow, too, so I’m just going to keep quiet and go on.
There’s something I’ve been thinking about quite a bit: Jessica. Obviously, having read the books, I feel sort of unsurprised over some of the things going on, but she’s really one huge question mark. What do you guys think? How is the whole thing with her going to develop?

who the hell is jessica
In Episode 1, we’ve had hints she could be trying to mess up Bill/Sookie just out of sheer spite. If even the major obstacle of one being dead and the other one alive didn’t do to separate the pair of them, is she going to prove fatal to their relationship?
My own guess is that she’s a transitional character serving to undermine Sookie’s trust in Bill. Read the books – spoils the fun, but some things become clearer and you don’t have to brainstorm about what’s going to happen so much. But, as I was saying, Bill seems to keep an awful lot of things from Sookie and well… what’s worse for keeping secrets than a babbling good-girl-turned-vampire-hag-from-hell? Bill better be good and learn the magical word: COMMUNICATION.
That’s all from me for this intro. I want y’all be good ‘till Episode 2 of our favorite show! Don’t miss it on watchtruebloodseries.com and remember to check back and give us some love and your latest impressions!
Now go listen to “Bad Things” for the 50th time and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.
Love y’all.
