Jason vs. Luke – Who Is Going To Be The Perfect Soldier Of The Sun?
Jason and Luke started with the potential of becoming friends. As it seems everything Luke has put years full of preperation and hard work in, comes to Jason without even much trying. Hence, Luke becomes increasingly jealous of Jason, which in a way is understable. He tries to expose Jason as a fraud.
I 
wouldn’t call my self a particular fan of Jason, but even rooted for him when he asked Luke: ” How is your nose.?” Luke so deserved it.
I suspect the growing antagonism between Jason and Luke is just prelude for a major conflict. Do you think Jason will turn his back on the Fellowship eventually?

It’s a hard call……he has seen the genuine side of a vamp, but he is also trying so hard to find something to believe in and pick a side…..I think he will turn his back eventually….especially if they will go in the same direction as the books eventually go:) BUt i loved when he socked Luke in the face<3 BUt i dislike the Newlins alot!!!

I like Jason, is so naif… in a cute way. Then so goofy and he has a good heart, he only needs to feel loved! REALLY loved, not sexual.

I don’t care much for Jason. For his sister’s sake I hope he will turn his back on the fellowship.
I keep getting the distinct idea that they’re using him because why would they recruit such a dummy like Jason and put him in the Fellowship’s Leaders house and give him such special treatment? He hasn’d done anything amazing at this place or in the past and Luke has worked a hundred times harder to get where he is so even though Luke is more qualified Jason might be the better pick just because he’s so corruptable and easily influenced and just looking for a cause and purpose. Hopefully he’ll see the light (pun intended) and realize that they’re just a bunch of hillbillies trashing anything different and looking for a cause themselves.

I am not that much of a fan of Jason, but Luke just gets under my skin! I dont like him.
I think Jason is sexy, but I’m not a big fan of him. I guess it’s just because of his attitude. I think Luke should be the soldier of the sun. Don’t get me wrong, I totally HATE Luke, but Luke has his mind set on “Vampires are bad”, while Jason is still going back and forth on rather vampires are good or bad.
But like Miss_Compton said, I think they’re just using him, OR are going to use him; I think they’re just trying to get him as close as possible.
Jason is close to the vampires and they want to keep him close because he can get inside information on the vampire’s whereabouts. Perhaps that is why.
I wonder if theirs a link between them having Jason and also trying to abduct Sookie in Dallas maybe they are just using him to get to Sookie
I agree. I think that Jason is gonna find himself in a huge mess with the Newlins and FotS, and that he’ll have to decide between his new beliefs and his love for Sookie. I also think that Jason is gonna come face to face with Eric, who knows all about Jason and Amy abducting Eddie. Another thing… SPOILERSPOILERSPOILER**** I think that a**hole Luke is going to take the place of the guard who tried to rape Sook in Living Dead in Dallas. I hope she kicks the sh*t outta him!
I’m really digging Jason more in this season because he has a more complex role than the idiot with a hard-on. I’m not sure what’s going to happen, but I can see Jason teaming up with Sookie to take down the Fellowship when things with the vampires get tough and he realizes that God’s true love is forgiveness and mercy for ALL things…including vampires.
Can’t wait to see what happens tonight.
i dont think he will anytime soon because of sara being a bad wife!! but could anyone tell me on the episode “never let me go,” at the end, a woman walks by bill and sookies room and when she hears sookie say “oh bill” her fangs come out, could that girl be bills maker?
Of course they are using Jason , he don’t have a brain but he can follow orders and can shoot , he is the perfect soldier , but in the end Jason will leave the fellowship of sun ,some times his got some lucidity, he will see what kind of evil he is messing around. I don’t like Jason , he is such a egoist , at least in the books he only f**ks Sookie life , only in the last book he seems to think before act. Probably Eric it will beat his ass when he discover what kind of societ Jason is part. \o/

tbh im rooting for the vampires to come and kill church cuz its too up its own arse =P so hopefully jasons left by then xD
i honestly dont no what’s goin on but i’m not a fan of jason but i think he will end up going for the vampires the fact that Sookie is with one and i hope he does too cuz what those peoples from church are doin is just wrong because not all vampires are bad…I hope they dont do anything to Sookie,Bill,and Jessica =/
The problem with that church and his followers is all the hate that they preach and spread, we don´t see the vampires doing it against humans… the majority of them of course!
They are so much trouble-minded then the vampires, they are insane and they have joy on being that way, they are totally besark and bad ones.
It´s awful the God´s name involved on that, but also it´s a way to see how heretic churches are, because the real ones don´t act like that.
Jason will eventually HAVE to turn againt FotS. If they don’t add the reason why he’d have to turn against FotS *spoiler* he shouldn’t even be there in the first place *end spoiler*, then the writers suck…and not the good vampire kind of suck.
I think they are using Jason to get to Sookie. I think when they do something
to Sookie he will wise up. At least I hope he does. He loves his sister but he is also a very selfish person.
i loved jason in the books and it irritates me that they have him so deep in the fellowship. i think that he will meet sookie in this coming episode(6th) or the next (while she is in danger) and snap out of whatever nutcase train of thought he is on.
*book spoiler* he did not seem to be quite so dense in the books and he never did anything in the book that would put sookie in physical danger. while he does a lot to piss her off throughout the series, he is almost always there when she needs him. his association with the fellowship could bring him trouble in the (going way ahead) 10th season when he lets out his secret. i also think it will allow the fellowship to find sookie a lot easier. *end spoiler*
