Lorena and Bill: “It’s all about choice”
After watching Hard-Hearted Hannah I kept wondering how their re
lationship ended. Was it possible that Bill played the boring one and have Lorena think it was her idea to split up or interesting her in a new toy? I even thought of Bill allying with a vampire that was Lorena‘s elder for a little while. 
As I hoped Release Me showed how their living together ended. I wasn’t surprised that Bill had to go to extremes to get away from his maker. When Lorena asks Bill what he wants from her, he simply replies choice.
Choice is something Bill never had when he was made.
Unlike Eric he was forced into being a vampire without ever being asked. Choice is something he gets ultimately denied when Eric called in Lorena to mess with him. Lorena is determined to force her will upon him. She calls it an act of love.
While sensing that Sookie is in deep trouble Bill is held captive by Lorena. Both stay awake and get increasingly weaker. When Bill pleads to Lorena to let him at
least alarm Eric, he finds out that Eric is responsible for the mess. Their situation is completely gridlocked.
It needs a third person to bring the change. Unfortunately this is Barry, the bellboy. Poor Barry cannot be glamored afterwards. 
I am a bit worried that she will not be able to forget about how different he tasted and try to hunt him down. Mentally, I am already preparing a stake for Lorena.
Lorena‘s actions seem to be completely ruled by her desires and impulses. She confronts Sookie at the party to cause further trouble and damage. Sookie doesn’t back down and the situation escalates. Godric intefers disgusted by Lorena‘s behaviour
Godric: I could snap you like a twig, yet I haven’t. Now why is that?”Her reply is: “It’s your choice.”
Lorena herself knows that she is making a fool out of herself. Yet she says she cannot help it. Bill correectly says to her:”The pain that you suffer, you have inflicted on yourself.”
By the way, I found it interesting that Bill was reading a book on “Good and Monsters in Ancient Greece” in the flashback. If he has a memory like an elephant maybe he can contribute on how to deal with Maryann.;-)

Lorena still is in denial after all this time. And with a human, this game is a lot more fun to her, than it was ever before. Know is a matter of pride to her and she wants him more then ever… know it´s personal too.
I blame Eric for all this mess… If this was the vampire court, he has to be punished, like he did to Bill making Jessica.
Bill never had a choice, that is really bad!
It’s hard to imagine Lorena will give up.
I can absolutly 100% say with certainty that I cannot stand Lorena. I cannot believe that Eric would stoop that low to call her, just because he wanted Sookie. I did however shout with happiness when Bill bashed her over the head with the t.v. I was sooo proud of Sookie when she didn’t back down from Lorena. Bill doesn’t love her anymore if he did ever, why can’t Lorena see that and accept it? Sure I understand the whole shes his maker bond but he is completely emotionless when it comes to her. I love the fact though that Sookie is a very obvous threat to her. Team Sookie 1 Team Stupid Hussy aka Lorena 0
Yay! Sookie didn’t back one inch from Lorena.
I think Lorena should follow her advice and find someone else. Preferably someone as mean and devoid of humanity as her.
My favourite solution for her, however, involves a stake. *whistles innocenetly*
Incredibly, I feel bad to Lorena. She looked SOO sad and it made me feel so bad. Yes she was bad but she looked so upset and she LITERALLY saved his life (well death) or is it life. IDK. Anyone else see this?
