Please Allow me to Introduce Myself…
My name is Ryan and it is my sincere pleasure to lead discussions on one of TV up and coming shows, True Blood.
A little background info on myself before we get into some topics of discussion. I am currently a sophomore Television, Radio, Film major at Syracuse University and am a self-described TV nerd. Some of my favorite shows on now are True Blood (of course), Entourage, 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad Men and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I hope to get into the TV industry after I graduate, either by writing or producing. I’m currently in school, but I live in Virginia.
Now to the nitty gritty. This is probably an awkward time to start writing for the site, but I’ll do my best to post once or twice a week. When the show is in season, I’d like to be able to post something 5 days a week, but since the new season is said to begin next summer most of the discussions we can have will only have speculative answers.
What we do know however, is that the beautiful Vampire Queen (Evan Rachel Wood) will have a Vampire King with whom she can conspire. The Vampire King will be played by Denis O’Hare. O’Hare won a Tony award for his work in “Take Me Out” and had a role in the Oscar winning film “Milk,” starring Sean Penn.
That being said, does this new character have anything to do with Bill’s disappearance, and if not, who does? Will he get wind of Eric and the Vampire Queen’s Vampire Blood dealings? Is he the leader of a plot to avenge the suicide bombing by Newlin’s goon?
These are some questions I think we can have fun with, for now. I want to watch the season finale again to better discuss everything that went down. It should be fun getting to know all of you.
