Eric is the definitive vampire. Powerful without flaunting it, he simply is the baddest. Every time some vampire or human steps out of line, Eric just looms over them with a soft subtle voice and tells them like it is. Flawed enough to adapt his looks when dismemberment, blood, and silver cause a hair malfunction. Anne Rice where are you when we need you…let your vampires grow the hair back instantly like Claudia.
The big sell on Eric is his sense of humor.
“….don’t try anything rash, I’m still hungry.”
(after telling Bill he would take Sookie to Dallas if he wanted)

Asking Lafayette to defend him when Pam gave him hell about his hair.
and finally…
Lunching on Lafayette with his crew after telling L that he would take L’s turning into a vampire on advisement.
Eric is way better in the books. Not because of Skarsgård, he’s awsome, but because he gets a lot more room in the books. Also, he was the one who killed the vampire in the bar, not Bill. He’s the best.

TV Bill beats book Bill, and Book Eric beats TV Eric. Except for the hair/blood part. Gotta love that.

agreed, Eric is so much better than Bill. But so far in the show its hard to see that. The books I think shed a better light on Eric as a partner
The show hasn’t given Eric much screen time YET. Hopefully we’ll see much more of him in tonight’s episode.

I always wonder for those that are team Bill…did you read the books or only watch the show?
I know that changed my perspective of Bill vs Eric. I watched the first season then read the books and changed teams from Bill to Eric.

As I see it this is a website mostly about the series. Why should I put book Eric in the equation?
I like Eric, Sookie, Bill and everyone else. But I really like Sam. He’s in love with Sookie and she’s not into him. I think he’s awesome and I used to be like him, in love with someone and they not feel it. He’s also private and unique and that’s awesome.
I voted for Sookie, because she’s the one I can relate to most.
But Bill is awesome too.
Sam…I didn’t say you should I was only asking the question of the people who voted. Since the show is based off the book I was curious as to how many had read the books or not to see if it affected the poll.
I guees hardly anyone would vote for Eric iff it wasn’t for the books. *hides*

I didnt vote 4 eric yes i think he is one of the most hottest men on the planet but i love sookie,she just has somthing about her that makes me want to be like her and want to watch the show over and over.maybe it should be a poll on who is the cutiest

At first I was all about Bill and Sookie, but as I read the books, Eric is my favorite. I feel like such a conformist.
