Tara and Maryann- Great Manipulations
While Maryann’s plan seems to be to manipulate the whole of Bontemps, she still seems to have a special focus on Tara.
After Tara decides to move in with Sookie,
Maryann is in the process of losing her influence. As she cannot prevent Tara leaving her household Maryann decides to not let her go. She finds Tara conveniently alone on her birthday and throws a party for her.
When Tara objects against Maryann’s idea to move in with her in Sookie’s house she resorts to mysterious power to have Tara give in. Maryann can manipulate people’s behaviour when she concentrates. She turn all the people in the Merlotte’s against Tara thus creating a very stressful time for her.
Did you notice how Maryann changed her appearance to manipulate Tara to let her move in? I am at a loss why Tara can’t see through her cheap gran imitation.

I believe that Tara has started to notice things are not quite right with Maryann, but her powers are so strong they keep pulling Tara and everyone else into her weirdness.
I agree with Karina, and know on the last episode we saw that Tara is on the run… she´s glamored on the party where they want to sacrifie Sam!
Tara clearly was shocked when she saw the orgy and Eggs looked as if he had seen that for the first awarely. Stil, they got totally sucked in. I wonder what it takes to free oneself of Maryann’s influence.
