Tara Thornton: Hate or Love Her
Did anyone else really dislike Tara when True Blood first season started?
She seemed like a hard ass by the best standards. She was very angry and agressive and everything seemed to get on her bad side. I didn’t even like the little affair she was having with Sam. There seemed to be hints in the beginning episodes that she had a lil’ thing for Jason but didn’t go through because he was already sleeping with anyone that blinked.
By season two she successfully grew on me. So give me your opinion on “Tara, Hate Her or Love Her?”.

I actually liked her from the beginning. She was someone that shoed her feeling right out without hiding anything. I honestly think she was the best character in season 1.
i also liked her from the beginning, she just pretends to be tough to hide the pain she felt during her life but deep down she’s a good person who is looking for good shit to happen to her, like love, and by the way we only see her soft side when she was with eggs!!! love her conversation with la fayette..they are so funny
yeahh! to bad eggs died! >.< lol.
***Possible Spoiler*** She was okay as Sookie’s friend, but who cares about her relationship!! I hope the writers aren’t posing her to take the place of Amelia in the books by having Tara move in with Sookie!!
***possible spoiler me neither, and Octavia as well. If Tara moved in and Amelia still did i would be ok with that but i like Octavia- shes a awesome and i dont want to give up any main characters for the sake of new ones in the show.
Oh and speaking of new characters in the show what the heck is up with Eric now having a love interest?He only ever seemed interested in having a one night stand with anyone other than Sookie, and seems to think that extended relationships between two non-related vamps is weird. Kinda backwards for humans to think that way but blood exchange between two vamps is sharing emotions and power. Of course we all know that old vamps don’t like doing that with anyone.
i love tara she’s so awsume!!! she’s funny 2. LOL! the worst is tht they’re changing the god damn characters!!!!!!!! THTS GONNA SUCK!

I actually loved Tara right from her first scene in episode 1. I think she is one of the funniest characters and I also loved that we got to see two different sides of her: the angry, insulting, compulsive liar and the scared little girl that never had any love. I really liked the Sam-Tara story line and I wish they would have continued with it but maybe with Eggs gone that might be a possibility.
I actually liked her. She was a hardass but, she also had the nerve to do some things, that none of us could really do. I just started watching True Blood, like a week ago. Lots of people told me it was stupid. I thought it would be like Twilight all over again, but i decided to check it out, and it started to grow on me after the second episode. But i like Tara shes my idol in a way, i want the strength, with-in her feelings that she has. =P. I just finished Season 1, movin on it was GREAT!
i gotta say, i didnt lyk her at first. she just never could have a good day in these episodes! i was kinda hoping that exorcism worked for her! buht hey, im new to true blood, and just now starting season 2, so maybe things will grow on me
I am a Tara fan through and through from the very beginning. I absolutely love what Alan Ball did with Tara’s character (so much better than the books). I can’t wait to see how her next relationship plays out. *Possible Spoiler* I wonder if they’ll ever introduce JB into the storyline since that’s who she ended up with in the books.
I like her. She’s honest. Brutally honest but everyone needs one person like that in their life. She doesn’t sugarcoat and I appreciate that as well as her sass. They can take out a bit of the testiness and she’ll be quite fine with me. If they stop making her so damned miserable.
I’m sure someone mentioned somewhere that they combined Jason’s and JB’s char. So who knows.
she fucking sucks
i cant stand her and her quivering lip everytime she cries which lately is every episode!! she use to be a badass and now shes just annoying and moppy!! shes alway sooo negative and a total debbie downer! season 1 we liked her and now we hope her character gets killed off!!shes just boring now and always crying about something. I dunno thats just my opinion.
She has forced me to record True Blood and speed through any scene with Tara in it because she is so incredibly annoying. The constant crying, lip quivering, stupidity of this character has set new heights in awful. The actress is not good, she is physically repelling and adds zero to the plot since the very beginning. Vile.

i HATE her, she is always angry, extremely ANNOYING, and insecure. She is always hating all vampires without having a bit of tolerance. I hope she moves out with her new girlfriend and leave sookie alone, or that Pam bits the shit outta her.
