Terry Bellefleur – Don’t Eyeball Me!!!

At first glance Terry Bellefleur seems to be a rather weird guy.
In Burning House Of Love it becomes obvious that he is very brave. He doesn’t hesitate at all to attack Malcolm and his friends when they begin to thread Sookie in the Merlotte’s.
In Sparks Fly Out his cousin Andy Bellefleur, ill-fated dectective in Bontemps, says that Terry has killed 200 Iraquis in Fallujah. He is haunted by his past in Iraque.
Terry seems to be a troubled ex-soldier who is afraid to loose his mind.Listening tp Bill’s recollections of the war Terry is deeply moved. After his speech Terry give the astonished Bill a heart-felt hug.
Terry not only feels bonds to Bill. From early on it is clear, he has a
thing for Arlene.
In The Fourth Man In The Fire he clumsily hints, he could babysit her kids.
His big hour to stand up for Arlene is in Nothing But Blood. Simply loved the way he kicked out the customers that bothered Arlene. “Up. Shake a leg. Keep walking. Don’t eyeball me.”
He maybe is a nutter, but a very lovable one.
Do you like Terry? What do you think the future has in store for him?

Yes i like Terry very well. Hes loving and tender but he strugles with post-traumatic disorder about the War and it is because of that he snaps sometimes, but he is an interesting charater to the trama scene.
I would like him to be with Arlene…
i like terry a lot, he should end up with arlene, he’s kind of weird yeah but who comes back from Iraq having killed completely sane anyway??!!
Terry is one of my favourite humans on the show!!!
It was so touching when he hugged Bill. Ususally Terry doesn’t seek contact with humans.
Apart from Arlene. I hope the two get together.
Ever think terry… isnt human??? He acts like Sam sometimes, and is not really that developed in the story, just a few snips of his past here and there…. maybe he is a werewolf or something, or a shapeshifter, like Sam?? Who knows… I do like him as a character though, he is interesting and I want to see where true blood takes him…
Terry is just a man who is disturbed by his past in the war, but he is peculiar sometimes, and I am also excited to see where TB takes him.
I love Terry.
I was thinking he might be more than human, maybe a werewolf in the beginning. Not anymore. I believe he is troubled ex-soldier and I want him to get together with Arlene.
Yes I would like him to be a werewolf… I agree with someones on it. He knows Sam’s secret and he also helps to uncover it. I think so!
We haven’t met werewolves in the series yet. From what we hear about them from Sam and Eric, they seem to be rather nasty creatures. I don’t think that fits in with Terry.
I don’t think he is a werewolf, either.
I don´t think he is one… but i would like him to be. But i know for sure, he knows Sam´s secret and he protects him.
IF you read the books you learn alot more about Terry…i won’t ruin it for people…..but also….you meet Werewolves and some are not as bad as you think…..but I love Terry…i just giggle a little when he has his “bad days” lol:D
Reading the books is not always heplful, just look at Lafayette, or the way Tara is established in the TV series.
I wonder which path Alan Ball will take with werewolfes.
Terry is one of my favourite charecters…!
he is funny, a nutball, and funny XD
I think he just might hook up with Arlene, they got pretty hot and heavy on the dance floor in episode four season 2. He definitely likes her and he has a big heart but is haunted by his past and afer learning about the trauma soldiers deal with in my World Views class I don’t blame him. He may be crazy but he tries hard to overcome his demons and that makes him tops in my book, I hope everything turns out well for him and that all this vampire/wereworlf/shafeshifter drama stays away from him, don’t want to give the poor man a heart-attack.
For the reason that he’s a “nutball”, I think he will stay as a B-character. He will hook up with Arlene and they will cross the show once in a while, but nothing more.
I seriously doubt that he should be a werewolf. But I’m looking forward to when they enter True Blood! From the beginning I thought Sam was a werewolf, because of the dog that kept an eye on Sookie. But that was wrong, as you probably know;) I just don’t think Terry will turn out to be an important “player” on the field, when he’s a nutball. It’s like… He doesn’t have the intelligens to make him such a danger, I don’t know how else to put it. I hope you understand me either way;)
I do like him tho, he’s a loveable nutball!
In the Novels isn’t Terry in a wheelchair?
terry is not in a wheelchair -remember book 5 when he helps on sookies house?
about terry i agree with “lovingthetrueblood” i think terry and arlene will have a brief relationship but remain friends but i do hope to see him more on true blood (he was awesome in the books) in the books he was a ‘nam vet who was a prisoner of war for over a year
i dont want him to be a werewolf- he doesnt seem like he would be a good one (not very good self control) in the books terry is oblivious to sam being what he is i dont think he knows in the show either personally
Terry comes from a very old family. Itr remains to be seen if this is of any consequence for the series. A friend of mine had the impression Terry is in contact with the dead.
Then again, maybe he is just hanted by his fallen comrades.
Im 17 and a fan of the show. Me and my mom have been thinking that maybe terry is an empath or maybe even a prophet of some sort because he always seems to know what to say, how to help, and always seems to affected by others emotions.
