True Blood Minisodes
As you may or may not know, True Blood is having ‘minisodes’ leading up to the Premiere of season 3.
What are your thoughts on these? I think that they are marketing brilliance. The problem with True Blood is the problem that any show faces when they’re not running new episodes: people start to lose interest or simply forget (think Lost, Heroes). This problem is doubled with a show like True Blood, which is an HBO show that has very few episodes per season (sadly!).
A great solution are these minisodes. They’re MUCH more interesting than trailers or ‘behind the scenes.’ It’s what we want: fresh True Blood to watch.
I’d like to see other shows follow True Blood’s lead, as they’re truly ahead of the pack.
