True Blood Soup

What the heck was in that soup that Carl was making for Maryanns “party”. If you ask me it kinda looked like nasty organs. It definitely had an effect on the party guests that evening whatever it was. Anyone have any suggestions to what it may be?

Aphrodisiac Soup.
I’d take on Maryann any day.
Despite the fact that she’s probably over 2000 years old.
She knows they won’t break.
For me the heart of Miss Jeanette is there, with any doubt… I bet!
Human flesh and organs…
When Maryann told Carl the soup needed more juniper, well, juniper’s red berries are used to attract lovers and for love charms. Hence, the wild orgys!!

Love the idea with Mis Jeanette’s heart!
Mike Spencer is the town coroner and the director of the local funeral home. He oversaw the funeral for Sookie’s parents years earlier. He is later seen cavorting at a party at Maryann’s house.
Strange isn“t it?
Well since Maryann is a (maenad) I think it was organ parts used in her Aphrodisiac stew. In Greek mythology, Maenads were the female followers of Dionysus, the most significant members of the Thiasus, the retinue of Dionysus. Their name literally translates as “raving ones”. Often the maenads were portrayed as inspired by him into a state of ecstatic frenzy, through a combination of dancing and drunken intoxication. In this state, they would lose all self control, begin shouting excitedly, engage in uncontrolled sexual behavior, and ritualistically hunt down and tear animals (and sometimes men and children) to pieces, devouring the raw flesh.
and children? maybe Daphne was attacked as a child….
Yeh I thought it would be that ladys heart aswell
It looked bloody and gross to me. I’m with everyone else. I think it is body parts.
