Vampires and their makers: Bill and Lorena
When Lorena turned Bill she said that they’d be together forever. Lorena chose herself a very honorable man to turn. I guess to ensure that she would have a loyal protege that would stay with her. She not only turns him against his will, she also betrays him. First she lures him to drink her blood with the prospect to see his family again. Only to tell him later that he can never return to his wife and children.
No wonder Bill never turned a human himself out of his free will.
Bill has obviously distanced himself from her. The last time we saw her in season 1 she seemed to be able to move Bill as if he was her puppet with strings.
When Lorena resurfaced at the end of Never Let Me Go and she seemed to up to no good.
Hard-Hearted Hannah finally gave us a true look into the heart of darkness.
Lorena’s fond memories of her life with Bill go back to Chicago in 1926. In The First Taste Bill played down his death toll as a vam
pire to Sookie by saying he killed some humans by accident in the beginning. Still, I wasn’t the least surprised to see the two acting like this. That is exactly the lifestyle I expected from Lorena.
At first glance the two are a flamboyant couple. They ruthlessly prey on humans.
At that time Bill doesn’t have to have any pangs of conscience. He is a remorseless predator. When his human victim asks him why Lorena and he are doing this he cruelly replies: ” Because we can.” No wonder he feels he should be tormented.
Lorena says that she hasn’t seen Bill for over 70 years.
I wonder how Bill maanged to get away from Lorena. She still seems to be obsessed with him.
Maybe he allied with someone more powerful than her for a while.
The vampire queen maybe?

Lorena is there beacause Eric invited her to Dallas. Him simple mission in mind was to make Lorena control Bill so Eric can begin to bond with Sookie the problem is that Eric can never know if Sookie is in trouble. But due to Episode 7 preveiw I beleive he will find out.
I have read the books, and I know what happens with Bill and Lorena and I pray to GOD that that is not what is happening now! I can’t stand her. However if she has made an alliance with Sophie Ann Leclerq that could mean bad things to come for Bill and Sookie, because Bill would have to do what she says seeing as she is the queen of the state he lives in. I can’t believe that Eric would want Sookie so bad that he would do this!!!!
I am a huge Eric fan. So I hope in episode 7 that him and Sookie will make a blood bond. As for Bill, he’s ok. I read the books and after I read them, I’m not into Bill as much anymore.
I just started reading the fourth book. I am still team Bill. *hides*
I think Eric in the TV series is darker and more interesting than the snguine and witty Eric in the books.

bill said in one other episode on season one ‘when vampires live in groups they loose all their humanity” (or something like that.)
maybe wen he lived with lorena he was vicious and cruel, just like he said in season 1. then once he distance himself.. well he might of got some humanity back.

Might be that Eric is introducing the Lorena variable to remove Nill as a possible obstacle to Eric’s business and personal relationship with Sookie. Lorena admitted same to Bill, who remains captured by her strength, not her charisma. As I see it, Sookie sees clearly in a future episode preview, and tells the skank in effect to “back her shit down” and forget Bill. She has more likely seized Barry, so that would explain why Bill shows up at the FOTS lockdown.

I was interesting to see how Bill’s and Lorena’s living together ended. I was sure Bill had to go to extremes to leave Lorena.
THE ONLY REASON I THINK LORENA DOESN’T WANT TO RELEASE BILL COMPTON BECAUSE WHEN LORENA LOST HER HUMANITY SHE THOUGHT BY KEEPING BILL SHE CAN LIVE THREW HIM BECAUSE OF BILL’S HUMANITY HE ALWAYS SURPRIZES HER SHE LIKES THAT BUT IF BILL WAS SMART HE WOULD GIVE LORENA WHAT SHE WANTS SO THEN SHE WILL GET TIRED & SICK OF HIM !.
Then Lorena is happy and Sookie goes to Eric by default. Not while they are engaged off screen, I’ll wager.

I don’t think Lorena is interested in Bill’s humanity. It seems to me she does everything to turn him into a vampire, a hunter. She turned Bill, because she wanted a companion. She think she loves him and most importantly: she doesn’t want to be alone.
She’d even prefer to be misarable with Bill. I am not sure, she’d ever get tired of Bill. She is a very destructive character.
