She seems to be like a puppy when she is with Bill. He tends to always get her into trouble, and is always pushing her into doing things that she would prefer not to. But I have read the books so I am really biased, especially when he did what he did to her after she risked her life to rescue him in the 3rd book I think it was. Club Dead. Bill wants her for her blood, Eric wants her cause he's a horn-ball:) A sexy one at that, I hope AB continues the way of the books. I think she is stronger when she is with Eric. We all have reasons to like Bill or Eric. If he ends up with Eric, I won't mind cause I like Eric too. If she ends up with Bill, the better because I prefer him for her. True, that Bill is no match for Eric, he's not as rich, not as powerful, not as old and not as influential. Therefore, he doesn't have the liberty Eric has. For example, I think he couldn't tell Sookie the truth on his coming to Bon Temps because he's merely a servant to the Queen, exposing such information could put both their lives in danger. Plus he's scared that Sookie might leave him (which she did anyway).He doesn't have vampires around him that respects him cause he himself dislikes vampire. He was forced into being one. He is sooo much younger than Eric (as a vampire) so he has not explored all the do's and don't's of vampirism yet (Am not sure he's willing to).Not sure if I made sense there but here's the thing... I understand Bill's character. He sounds like an ordinary guy, they say he loves you, but you don't usually feel it, they say they give you everything but "where"?, They say they love you but they can't always be with you. They say they want to know everything about you, but they couldn't be as honest to you as you are to them.They won't hurt you "intentionally", when they do hurt you, they say they are not in the right mind...Eric on the other hand is the "dream guy"...Sexy, mysterious, the man that everybody(yes everybody, even men) wants but "can't have", the rough guy with a soft spot,. In my world, I would love to have Eric. It's very intentional that the show focuses more on Eric now because that is really what's going to happen next. They had a relationship, yeah... due to the \blood bond\. But I really feel that Charlaine Harris will make the ending good for Sookie and Bill. Bill loved her first, she first loved Bill, and Bill loves her still... even without the blood sucking thingy... As for Allan Ball, he did say that Sookie and Bill are soulmates... I mean he wouldn't say that if he doesn't know what the ending would be...
