What a load of @#$$%! Eric cuffing Russell, like Russell – with his 3000 years – couldnt easily break the cuffs or just drag Eric with the cuffs on inside the house? He might burn faster cause he’s older, but not THAT fast that he cant even make a simple move, pfff…….
Couldnt the cast think of a better plan to kill Russell? You know, like letting him drink Sookies blood after she let herself be poisoned (Eric can secretly take the cure so he survives)? Or the fairy world that comes to aid Sookie in the last second and kill Russell? The fairy DID say they would protect Sookie, no? What a unnecessary disappointment. The show was pretty “realistic” so far, but this is like a major shit stain on the toilet.
Remember Russell lost a loved one so, knowing from past episodes, Russell wants the revenge of Talbot’s death. Remember that a huge part of him wants to see Talbot again. Not only does he have the Talbot problem, he was also filled with disappointment that he couldn’t daywalk. We all saw how happy he’d gotten when he thought Eric was successful. All that coupled with the fact that he /is/ old probably fortified why he was immobilized so quickly.
Good explanation, im actually not disappointed anymore! Didnt look at it that way (although they are all emotional reasons, but yea, vamps have emotions too, so it counts).
